As a consultant cardiologist and specialist in general (internal) medicine, Dr d’Arcy is well placed to support patients with a wide variety of heart related conditions. Including palpitations, breathlessness, dizziness, angina and heart valve conditions.
Her special interest in cardiovascular imaging (echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT) can be valuable during diagnosis. Helping to ensure that her patient’s condition is understood and the right treatment plan is put in place.
Aviation cardiology is also a significant part of Dr d’Arcy’s work. She is familiar with civilian, or military requirements for pilot, or ATCO licensing and able to assess, or investigate aircrew and controllers on behalf of licensing authorities.
The depth of knowledge and skill those tasks require serve all her patients, who benefit from accuracy, diligence and medical understanding.
Above all, they benefit from Dr d’Arcy’s wish to support them as an individual and those around them. She appreciates the concern heart conditions can bring and the effects they have on people’s lives.
