Neethu qualified from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, in 2013, before obtaining a Masters in Physical Therapy at the same university in 2016. After coming to the UK, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health at the University of Salford.
Early training in musculoskeletal, sports and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy brought Neethu wide knowledge of essential techniques. She has also worked in intensive care, at a special school and helped to provide physiotherapy in the community.
The experience Neethu has gained since includes supporting patients with orthopaedic conditions, or after joint replacement surgery. Her ability to help with pain management, or sports injuries is welcomed.
As importantly, she takes time to get to know her patients needs and shares understanding which enhances their recovery. Neethu’s insight into the way people’s lives are affected helps to shape the care she offers.
Treatment Provided
Neethu is recognised for her ability to perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse and complex conditions. Providing an accurate diagnosis in liaison with other specialists and developing a patient focused treatment plan.
This can include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, joint mobilisation, or the use of electrotherapy. Safety always to the fore, alongside the contribution each choice makes to a good outcome.
With a number of leading orthopaedic surgeons working from our hospital, Neethu is experienced in providing the physical care which speeds their patients recovery.
She is equally able to provide support after other surgical procedures, fractures, ligament damage, or a range of physical injuries. Her treatment can help to relieve swelling, pain, joint stiffness, or a wider lack of mobility.
Each step Neethu takes is chosen to maximize the rehabilitation of her patients, through sensitive use of the latest, proven techniques.
