Mr Gore was admitted to the GMC’s specialist register for plastic surgery in 2012. In consultancy posts that followed, he maintains a sensitive, evidence based approach to supporting patients and offers a comprehensive range of cosmetic surgery.
This includes ffine quality scar management and reconstruction after skin cancer, particularly of the eyelids, or nose. He offers head & neck surgery, reanimation following facial palsy, abdominal wall reconstruction and breast surgery.
Mr Gore also has a specific interest in sedation techniques, as part of his wish that patients are comfortable and undergo treatment in the way best suited to them.
Research & Teaching
Mr Gore has published numerous research articles and book chapters, on topics related to reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He regularly teaches upcoming surgeons in those disciplines and contributes to developing his field.
This includes supporting regional management of treatment for facial palsy, skin cancer and head, or neck cancer. He is also a member of the council of the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists.
Continuing to share developments is equally important to Mr Gore. He maintains his passion for contemporary best practice by regularly visiting and liaising with world class surgical colleagues, in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
