Mr Williams graduated in medicine from the University of Birmingham, in 2005. Specialist surgical and urological training followed, along with being awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Warwick, for research into prostate cancer and obesity.
Entry to the GMC’s specialist register in urology came in 2017. Mr Williams then took up consultancy posts, supporting patients across general urology and his special interests.
They include bladder and prostate cancer, particularly offering patients comprehensive diagnosis. Mr Williams provides local anaesthetic transperineal (LATP) and general anaesthetic transperineal template prostate biopsies.
Alongside helping to launch a one-stop prostate clinic, Mr Williams has been involved in clinical governance. He maintains an interest in patient safety, treatment audits and quality improvement, believing that every patient deserves the best care.

Research & Teaching
Mr Williams research focus is on urology, he has published in depth articles on urological technology and the history of urology.
He is involved in both undergraduate (University of Warwick) and postgraduate teaching, along with a webinar for the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) on the topic of male urology.
