Dr Leddy qualified in medicine from the University of Liverpool, in 1993, having planned a career in general practice from the outset.
Further training saw her achieve a Diploma in Child Health and another in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. After obtaining membership of the Royal College of General Practice in 1998, Dr Leddy undertook training in family planning and reproductive medicine.
She sees continuous education as a vital part of supporting patients, enhanced by 26 years experience in general practice and in senior positions.
Dr Leddy is Medical Director and part owner of Oxfordshire Medical Consulting, an organisation dedicated to providing a personal, more relaxed way to access general practice.
The wellbeing of patients benefits from Dr Leddy’s mindful approach to consulting. Led by awareness and knowledge, with a focus on individual need.
Additional Interests
Dr Leddy has completed courses in Advanced Trauma and Life Support, along with Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support. Exceptional training, which prepares doctors to work on high risk, field based, acute trauma cases.
This has been valuable on many occasions, most notably in her capacity as a British Eventing Medical Officer. Travelling with the team to provide medical cover at national and international horse trials.
