Dr Gill graduated in medicine from University College London in 1999, an early decision to specialise in paeadiatrics leading her career.
Further experience and training in paediatrics followed in Bristol, the South West and from 2010, within Oxfordshire. Dr Gill entered the GMC’s Specialist Register in Paediatrics (Community Child Health) in 2014.
Her senior appointments include serving as a lead paediatrician with the Oxfordshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Neurodevelopmental Conditions Pathway. She is also the lead doctor for an Oxfordshire special school.
Dr Gill has clinical expertise in treating cerebral palsy, learning disability, social, or emotional behavioural difficulties and in children’s safeguarding.
Her work is led by innate skills in the assessment, diagnosis, and support of children. Particularly children with neuro-disability, developmental delays, or neurodevelopmental conditions, such as autism and ADHD.
Dr Gill’s ability to understand and relate to the children she treats adds to the knowledge she brings, offering them positive ways to move forward.
Research & Teaching
Since her consultant appointment with Oxfordshire CAMHS, Dr Gill has had an active role in the development of autism diagnostic services for children ages 2 – 18 years.
This has evolved into the Neurodevelopmental Conditions Pathway for the assessment and diagnosis of autism, or ADHD, within the county’s school age population.
